last night, i was spinning at a small party. to get to the point, we were 4 DJs, each fighting for some more airtime. at one point, where i had already spun more than any of em, i get off the decks and let one of my buddies take over.
then, another one of my friends is in a corner all frustrated, bitching about how he wanted to spin... and lightning struck...
we had 2 pairs of cans, because we all like the Sony 7506s, so one of us brought one, but there is one guy who cant spin without his HD25s, so he borught his.
the CDJ-200 has a headphone jack on the back, for direct monitoring...
and bam... they were both spinning at the same time. made for some very interesting 3 deck mixes, and was fun as hell. afterwards me and my other friend did the same. soooo much fun to play with the faders and FX once you have 3 tracks playing.
just a cool note, and for those who had never thought about it, try it! |

You don't need 2 people to mix 3 tracks at once ;)
But back to back sets are always good fun so I could imagine that'd be awesome. |

Whats really cool is 2x4's.
2 decks and a djm-600 on one side.
and 2 decks and a djm-600 on the opposite.
good right there! |

that i am quite aware of, but still, even if you can mix 3 decks with no problem, having someone go at it with you and messing with your tracks while you mess with theirs and ing with the FX, EQs and faders, well, it just adds a whole new realm.
and yeah lane, that is cool. hopefully will happen soon. |
