i found an internet cafe here in Periube 3 hours from Sao Paulo. its amazing how cheap everything is. every dollar = 2.3 Reals. before i go, im going to buy me a phat ass sound system for only 80 Reals or 50 bucks, normally 100-200$ in the states. it seems like ive spent so much money, but really, ive only spent 30-40 Reals.
yea homies, i got pictures, video, me dancing glowsticks in the middle of the street, everybody lookin at me like, "WTF??" and of beautiful landscapes ive never been or seen before.

how big is martial arts over in brazil. it seems (at least here in the states) that brazillian jiu-jitsu is as much a topic as george bush here in the states.

i havnt been to the big city yet. im in a small town called peruibe, so i havnt seen the world-renowned brazilian chicks that i always hear about yet.
weed is illegal, but i havnt seen one single cop while ive been here. they dont give a too much.
something i have noticed is, with the young people, they treat me like im a celebrity just because im from america. always shaking hands. staring at me. everytime i talk english, they all listen intently or stare at me. strange feeling. and they do think im rich. it may be a bit true, because when converted from dollars to reals, i have a load of money in my pocket. 2 monthes wages for some people ive met here. 700 Reals.
i have seen one martial arts place here in this small town, they can really beat the out of anyone who tries them. |
