I am too much of a car fanatic to actually have ONE dream car, as no single car can fulfil all of one's driving needs.
One car that does come close, which doesn't actually exist until someone has the balls and cash to make it is...
The Ferrari LM GT car (modified Ferrari 550 or 575 with lots of carbon fibre replacement panels, better brakes, handling and aerodynamics) with a Koenig Twin Turbo tuning kit. Then you'll be looking at an 850 bhp car that weighs 1100kg. Suck on that mofo's!

I actually got to drive a CL65 two months ago! It's scary how 738 lb-ft of torque @ 3,000rpm can literally rip your face off! It's kind of hard to cruise because you are so paranoid about the throttle.. push it just a teeny tiny bit and you will hit that car a 100 yards in front of you. :crazy:

You want mine? Nah.. just kidding. I definitely wouldn't sell my car. :D
If you do a Saleen conversion, be sure and at one non-Saleen thing - a Kenne Bell blower. Get some forged internals and a good FRPP clutch as well.. ang bigger rubber on the back wheels. Takes a lot of extras to be able to handle 400+ rwhp. It's definitely doable with money, though.
As for my dream car... the new 500hp Corvette Z06.
Its 0 - 60 time is 3.7 seconds.. and that's all in first gear. Top speed is around 200 mph. 12 inch tires on the back.. Aghh :tongue3 :eek: Best part is that it's almost/just as quick as the supercars on the road and it's at least half the price at 65,000 dollars. Winner in my eyes.. Here's some pictarrrs.
