'no skill' ? ha ha. that sounds stupid to me.
i'd like for you to read and see how ableton live does really work. if there's something that it needs, it's skills and ideas. this is way far away from the 'no skill' thought. |

+1
and for all of you who need to see the dj instead of hear him (pretty much everyone who wrote a negative comment here) here's an idea likely to come true which would solve your problem:
having a flat-touch-screen monitor facing up embedded in the booth next to the controller.
now you can see the dj again! |

no way on earth is ableton "taking over"
IMO, the ableton Djs are making themselves look boring, as mentioned eariler on
a few djs wil go to it but a lot will just stick with cds
and a lot of regular club djs will still be on vinyl for a couple more years.
the day i hav to go out and buy a 2 grand mixer for my laptop will be a sad day |

^^^^^^
i am NOT saying it is easy to use, the creativity is good
but id rather a dj be good with a crowd rather than a technical genious, just my preferance |

i find it interesting that you seem against albeton because it looks boring, but are for cds...i mean...i personally would probably choose ableton over strictly cdjing.. |

that's not a conflict of intrests, there's no reason to choose one or the other, as there has never been.
why not be both? |
