Hi everybody!
Sorry for writing in English. But I'm french, and although I can speak a bit of German, I don't write it yet that properly :crazy:. So, I start this thread to make some advertising for a Progressive/Trance Party. But this is quite special, because this party should take place in a student-house in Hamburg. In fact it's the second party I advertise on TA germany. The last one took place last semester.
Europa-Haus is a student house not far from Barmbek. I don't know if any of you have ever been to a student party by us. I would say it is quite nice, with the the really cheap drinks and so on, but after a while it gets boring, because you always hear maintream music. So for the second year now I'm trying to bring something fresh to our bar, with various events, and included in this....Trance Parties. It is not always as easy as one would imagine. The majority of the students are often suspicious when it comes to new things. But I still haven't given up the hope of bringing the electronic culture in the student houses in hamburg. I'll be behind the decks that night with a friend of mine. Those mixes are only exemples of sets. I've got many more records in slightly differents styles. So if you want to have a nice trance party with cheap drinks (beer 1 euro, longdrinks 2 euros) and a student atmosphere, you're all welcome!

...and if you'll play Peter Gabriel - Darkness (Greed meets Engelspost Remix) <- that breakbeat-oriented mix ... then I'll just freak out :D |

Great! Glad you'll be there. for the track, I'll see what I can do :). It'll depend a lot on the people.... (if there are any at all héhé).

Jepp war letztes Mal da...nicht falsch verstehen, es ist kein "echter" Club im eigentlichen Sinne, aber das hat Corentin ja auch schon geschrieben. Irgendwie sehr nette Atmosphäre, entspannt an der Bar chillen und ab und zu mal auf der Tanzfläche ein wenig ab-freaken :D
Und die Sounds passen 100%ig in das Setting, pure Prog! Hat mir damals sehr gefallen.
Besuchertechnisch darf man natürlich keine Wunder erwarten, allerdings muss ich schon sagen dass ich überrascht war, dass relativ viele da waren (kann jetzt nicht mehr genau schätzen). Vor allem wenn man das Klischee vom Studenten bedenkt, der meistens solchen Sound eher nicht so hört ;) |
