Recommended Soundcards for Traktor - PCDJ..

I need a good PCI Multichannel (2 stereo) soundcard to use with PCDJ.
Anyone with a good recommendation. |

| Now I'm using a Creative Live! but usualy I mix only with my headphones so I don't use the multichanel feature that much. I listen the cued and the playing tracks while beatmatching in my phones and when I start the transition I just switch to main mix (on Traktor). It's just like taking your headphones off and listen into the speakers. I've used on-board soundcards as well and it worked out fine. |

| you can just add on a cheap card and use traktor to setup what goes to what card. Im using a chaintech av-710, it does really well, theres optical out, 96khz, and thers a mode for 2+2 which is what you would need. All for under $50. |

Get an ASIO driver for you soundcard (Sound Blaster or whatever) such as Kx. Then set it up to get multichannels work. Then you can have four channels. (two for monitoring, and the other two for speakers)
You also get a lower latency with the driver. |
