Alright...after listening to the "TOKYO" mix for four times, start to finish, I have to say that you again have delivered a top notch mix. :)
Your mixing is on the spot. I would say that this mix follows 'Vancouver' & 'Moscow' with a different vibe.
'Vancouver' & 'Moscow' were so ADDICTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For me "Transatlantic" (Track 7) is the gem.
Thanks for the lovely set.
P.S. Was track selection tough for this set? |

Yep thats exactly wanted to achieve, each set to have its own unique vibe/style to it, so each one can easily be identified and remembered.
Glad you like it, i can definetley see why people prefered Moscow and Vancouver and they were both so well recieved.
Moscow: driving and uplifting
Vancouver: chilled, wintery, easy listening
Tokyo: Summery, wanting to put your foot down when driving kind of thing lol
I had the aim to make this a more summery vibe as im going on holiday on Sunday. To get me in the mood lol
I just think its the first 20-30mins are whats really important in my mixes, to develop the listeners mood, capture them, from then on in its just a case of their imagination i guess.
Thanks again PTX, appreciate your kind words. Oh and Transatlanic is indeed a cracking track, loving it. That and the Keo Nozari track :D |
