Audiorealism bassline is amazing for me,
but you can use most of trance vsts to create good bass... |

Waldorf A1, which comes as a factory synth in Cubase SX, makes great basses...it is a highly underrated synth. Also, Albino 2 is great. Novation V-Station is good but I don't use its basses a lot. If you don't have A1, let me know and I will send it to you. It is only a small DLL and the preset banks. :) |

rgc:audio Triangle II has some good bass presets that you can fiddle around with :D But z3ta+ is probably better... same producer, only z3ta+ is commercial.

I'm having a problem coming up with that great bass also, but I think its just me and not the synth. Although my crappy basses sound decent after a EQ and Compression is kicked in. |

As long as you don't mind your CPU being raped while being eaten, you can check out Tweakbench Pressure. I get some pretty phat sounds out of it.
I've also gotten some nice bass sounds out of Floops's 3xOsc, although that generally takes more finesse.
Audiorealism Bassline is really nice for bass, and acid lines, too. |

Been using Synth 1. It has a nice dry sound to it and cuts through the mix pretty well. Can handle liberal comression without sounding too squashed too, which is important for basslines I find. |

I recently got Albino, and I have no idea how to use it properly... any hints on how to make good basslines with it? :) I really need to improve my bass sounds, they're becomeing rather generic ;/ |
