Basically, whats a good multichannel soundcard. PCI that will run a main output and a another for the headphones?

hercules DJ console will do it. It's also a badass souncard. I recommend it. It made for what you want to use it for. |

Too bad you don't have an nforce motherboard. They have amazing onboard sound and you don't have to buy some crappy pci soundcard. I'd say hercules is the way to go though if you want a good card for the money. |

Buy a dxm01 usb then you can use the external crossfader, eqs and levels. They are pretty cheap |

I have 2 sounds cards, but the DJ console makes it seem like i have 3. I use the DJ console soundcard for everyday use. i use my Hercules GTXP to take up space on my desk. |

I was thinking of getting a soundcard too, for mixing with my computer. But then someone said that my internal soundcard on my mainboard (ASUS something) could do almost everything i wanted. It's sound from ASUS (called "SoundMAX" or something). Is this true? |
