My favorite time of the summer - PRIDE!
Friday night I think I'm headed to Ultra supper club to check out Mark Vedo, Boy George and Mark Oliver.
This year I'm playing Saturday afternoon at 2pm at the pride central stage/beer tent, and 3:30-4:30am Sat night with Boy George, Chiclet and other guests (local and international) at Kool Haus.
Sunday night is the activate stage with DJ Dan, Lady Linzee, Deko-Ze and Jelo. I may also check out king sunshine in the afternoon.
What are everyone's plans?? |

GO SEE THE KINSEY SICKS!!!!! I used to be their waitress for the cabaret shows they did in Provincetown, MA. They are an acapella drag show but they seriously sing like professional acapella groups - amazing voices. They are performing on the TD North Stage at Church & Gloucester on Sunday at 9pm. And their act? They spoof popular songs like "You Give me Fever" turns into "You Give Me Beaver" or "Chapel of Love" turns into "Locked Out of the Chapel of Love".
They are hilarious whether you are gay, straight, bi, whatever! I can guarantee you'll laugh your ass off and if they do their singalong at the end....*shakes head*. I'm not going to tell you but be prepared for it....:cool:
I'm pissed I'm missing them but two weekends in a row up in TO I cannot do. :( |

Sat night i will be at the koolhaus for a bit then guvy...
Sun is the parade followed by beer gardens, street party and if energy and $$ allow the deko-ze party. |

I will definitely check out the Activate stage this year. Too bad Kenny Glaskow is not spinning. Oh, well.
I will also do my best to go to the parade. There really is nothing else to do this Sunday coming up.
Can someone tell me how early one must get to the Activate stage to actually get in where the beer is sold? |
