ok so i'm annoyed with my future roommate nick. he is so gungho on this damn loft that he found listed for rent. it's a 2/2 and a half and it's a "loft" style...like the ceiling is all opepened w/ the pipes exposed and all NY style...which is cool, but we don't think there are doors to the bedrooms. it has that whole "open" architecture.
www.nolalofts.com i mean pretty sick, but i'm sorry, i need a door if i'm living with a guy roommate, or anyone for that matter.
so i made that very clear and he's like, "oh i know bla bla, maybe we can put something there, but if not, i know we'll keep looking"
so now he's got this idea that he's gonna go to his rich grandpa and get him to finance a condo for him...he wants to buy. and of course he wont shut up about the ing lofts. and i was like, "well there's no doors" and he's like, "oh i know i would put one in" and THEN he's all trying to like think about it as an investment, like he'd turn around and sell it after 6 months...and im just so annoyed. i'm not gonna go through all this to move in just so i can move again in 6 months..screw that. and not to mention, that stuff doesn't happen in 2 months...the whole process of buying a place (and adding walls) takes forever. i want to get the hell out of here with the boyfriend (soon to be ex) and just get that part of my life stareted already. i told him i want out of here by sept. 1 and he was like, "well why? u and billy are getting along right, bla bla bla" and that really pissed me off. he doesn't know my situation or how things are.
anyway, i'm gonna send him an email and tell him that if he's gonna make a big situation out of this and try to buy a place now and bla bla bla, that i'm out, and i'm just gonna find another roommate.
oh yea, and that girl with the boyfriend called me, and she's driving down here with her parents to get her stuff and i guess the boyfriend is being a dick, so she's gonna have to get a police escort when she goes there...
so i dunno...i guess that's good news, compared to when she talked about it last time, kinda making excuses for him, like they were gonna make up. it sounds pretty serious now that she's coming with her parents and a cop. so maybe he'll be long gone out of her life and i can be roomies with just her and nick can have his dumb loft.
why does it always have to be drama?!? i just wanna f'n find a damn apartment and move in..why does he have to start trying to buy a place, he's only like 24...the market sucks ass for buyers now anyway because property values are ridiculously high, there's a lot of talk about it on the news n stuff about how high priced real estate is in south florida. it's getting more and more like NYC...in 400k for some dumb little old 3 bedroom house:wtf:
oh well.
