well, i recently went through an old journal where i'd actually WRITE code when there was no copmuter around. There were two ideas that i pitched to you guys under the NialsjD alias that i never got around to completing.
the first one was what i called a "party finder" which enabled users to use cell phones to find parties in their region and actually start a "bandwagon" to join with other Party Finder users. There was a built in calendar and used existing map-tech to give directions and distance to nearby parties.
the other was a single player DJ RPG style game that was just a simulation to reach the top of the DJ game. The big thing (big, literaly) was a math equation i was working on you try out an innovative mode where sound was analyzed to critique your mixing skills against rival DJs. However, the equation was just going on forever and i had to stop focusing on that while i needed to focus on other areas in my life.
anyways, I was recently picked up by the US divison of a Chinese software development company and friday we are having a meeting to discuss our direction for the future. The big thing we are focusing right now is a secret project that is a rather innovative MMO.
but now that i do have the resources and the team, should i pitch these two ideas? is there any interest in them that would be beneficial to a group of guys who are under the gun to make this US Division successful?
i would think they'd be beneficial to TA-Users, but we need a more broad audience. will these ideas work? |

| (party finder)if it were up to me, i'd keep it at a beta stage and maybe let the TAs find the kinks and chin...i mean finks with it until it was stable. then keep it free with small advertisements funding it. I don't know another word to put it, but people at parties will be put into "clans" so they can find each other and find out who else from their "clan" is there |

| lol. so is it like....a local "dj at party" thing, where you get notifications or a friends finder that does house parties. and do you have the option to set up a house party and broadcast? |

yeah my biggets concerns would be
who is showing up
how many
can you bring guests
how is guest allotment dealt with
can people purchase tickets?
can you **** a party by "buying" all those tickets
what is the authentication process and whats to stop some head from getting "banned" and just creating a new account |
