yea but the point of all philosophy and ontology is that mass perception is reality. So if EVERYONE smoked and saw and it was god, would it not BE god? |
ok here's the issue..........mass perception is reality.
that's the problem....... no one ever truly knows if anything can be perceived through the masses because perception, innately, is solely based on the individual.
so if we have a collective perception, that's just the utilitarian form of reality....what's best for everyone must be the best option, in general.
however, just because, through society we have ONE perception, it doesn't mean it's correct, or even that it truly exists.
going back to the individual, where perception is the foundation of thought, we notice that we have our own realities.
Our best attempt to form a collective is through LANGUAGE, which in and of itself, isn't a collectively understood realm. Not speaking on the basis of various languages, but various interpretations of words, and languages attempt to communicate the unwordly into a wordly fashion.
..........and stuff. :wtf: |

language is hella consentual though. We all "agree" that certain things MEAN things, when in reality there is absolutely no reason to.
I submit to you, sir, that upon the realization that language is arbitrary , we will build a ladder that goes to heaven*
*this isnt even a foot note, its a new paragraph bitch! unf but you hella thought it was so im going against CONVENTION yeyahhhhh
so anyway. Im just saying that in a Malcom X kind of way of "power perceived is power achieved" that if everyone had a common vision it would BE truth. back in the day. The Earth WAS the center of the universe. the only reason we dont think it is now is because we all believe crazy about time space and dimensions and . We just happen to agree that the people talking to us use words way more crazily than we can or argue against so we acquiesce.
bizzle! |
