Deko-Ze, and Jelo.
I can't even count the number times I went to a party to see a guest international DJ, like one of the last times Sandra Collins played at Turbo, thinking she played a great set, and then Deko-Ze came on and absolutely in killed it!
There's been so many times that I can remember him showing up the guest DJ in that same manner. |
I still remember his set from Ascension 9, Destiny's first boat cruise back in 99. Killer set. |

| Yup!! I'll stick with the homebred talent. Everytime I've seen LaFleche or Deko-Ze.... they've never disappointed. I'd also mention Mark O. but there was this one time he played a weird set I wasn't too fond of. @ least that's IMO. The hype surrounding all the Inter. dj's subjects them to more criticism... and expectations, which, in most cases they don't live up to. Once again.. IMO. |

Toronto Locals [deko-ze, addy, glasgow, miller]
experience with our crowds goes a long way in playing for us. Each one knows how to work the Toronto crowd and never leaves me without taking their toll on my feet.
Chus and Ceballos; never fails to deliver a good different tribal set everytime here.
Digweed; everytime I go to one of his shows, I know exactly what to expect. tracks that I won't hear or truely appreciate until they're released, 6 months down the road.
Carl Cox; energy, and party music. The man knows how to make the music fun for everyone in attendance, and never puts on a bad show.
Donald Glaude; same as Cox, just not quite as good, but still, you know what to expect, and will have a good time.
Danny Tenaglia; because he actually cares about every party he DJs, and he genuinely loves his job even after so many years.
Andy C; as far as jungle and drum and bass goes, I've still never been to a party of his without a great atmosphere
Danny Howells; I've never found a recording of his I can genuinely say I liked from start to finish, but everytime I've seen him, everyone else leaves happy. |

Armin for me... i've never seen any other DJ (except MO) who consistently delivered track after amazing track. Other djs are good but i find some have nights when i'm just not into their music.
Mark Oliver is the only other DJ who does it for me... the guy is a machine! :D |

I know a guy here who used to drive up to Toronto see Mark Oliver. That's like a 13 hour drive.
|
I know a person who used to comedown from rochester every weekend just to see Mark spin....Mark inspired him so much that he started DJ'ing and is now spinning at various venues in Rochester....Goes to show how DJ's can become role models....:) |

Steve Lawler and Ferry have had consistantly great shows every time I have seen them. Local wise, Evil P and Deko-ze have never ceased to fire it up.
But I have to say definitely bring Morillo to Toronto more. He plays a bad ass set that's ass shaking, energetic and SICK SICK TRACKS!!! Subliminal Winter Sessions 2 still kills me. |
