I'm surprised Dublin is so low. The cost of living here is insane.
I wonder where Brussels and Amsterdam rank, i always find everything is so damn cheap there!

Id like to see a comparison that takes into account costs and average incomes. That would do me much more good then looking at everything from a US dollar earned point of view.

2000 pesos is only about 600 US but on 2000 pesos you can live far more comfortably in buenos aires than you could for $2000 Canadian in Toronto for example. And for me, earning that 2000 a month down there was easier than it is here. It takes me double that in canadian dollars to have anywhere close to the same lifestyle i had there.

then why are you here???

you *constantly* complain about the state of this city...this country...our government...our laws...and often point out how other countries do things better...yet you continue to live and work here.

if the grass is *so* much greener, why not put your money (and yourself) where your mouth is...and move?

I'm also honestly asking, btw...

Because i want the canada that once was but better. The way i see it we are heading down the wrong path right now. Just giving up is not an option (yet). I hope people change their attitudes but it seems that their attitudes are just getting worse. Perhaps one day i will move. But id like to see what happens here first.

Actually what most russians craved was the freedom to travel and express themselves. Many of them still want communism but without the dictatorship that came with it.

Anyone know off-hand what the unemployment rates are in the top 10 countries?
Just wondering how a low income earner would cope in these cities...
