Okay so last week Brian told me not to make any plans for monday night because he was kidnapping me for the night. Then yesterday he tells me to meet him after work in the city, still not telling me what we were doing. I met him at his job and we walked down by union square. all along i am wondering what we are going to do but he won't tell me and I was clueless.
Then we end up at Irving Plaza and there's a line outside. Brian said it was probably the line for our event and now I was really curious...and then I saw a poster saying THE KILLERS and I was like "Holy , are we going to see The Killers?!?" [As in, Mr. Brightside] Of course the answer was yes and Brian had two tickets and VIP passes to a special concert that apparently wasn't open to the public....
AND was sponsored by Heineken -- So when we got into the venue we found out that there's complimentary Heineken [keg cans] all night long. Free beer tastes GOOD! :p The crowd was really cool and consisted of a large number of very attractive boys and girls. :p We got pleasantly buzzed and then The Killers came on and were AWESOME!! They were absolutely amazing live! SUCH a good performance. I was so impressed! I felt bad that I only knew one song but I still had a great time. Those guys are so talented and it was so much fun to see a live band for a change. Brian and I agreed that we need to do that more often.
Anyway, it was a wonderful night and THE KILLERS totally rock!
[and we got goodie bags filled with cool stuff when we left! :D ]

| The Killers are pretty good. I've got this crazy thing for Senses Fail though... But Mr. Brightside is one of favorite songs of recent times. |

| Am I the only one who hates hearing Mr. Brightside in a club. A track about some girl cheating isn't really my idea of a good time. I mean, it's a good, depressing track, but when I'm out trying to have fun, bad memories aren't really needed. |
