| i remeber there was a topic about these some year or so ago, but i can't find it now. anyway anyone know where i can find these cheap? i really might need them for my summerjob (as it's mainly dull and there's really no one to talk to 90% of the time and i need to use earplugs anyway). so anyone got a link for them or something? and does anyone have any experience on these? |

| you can get earphones anywhere man. Personally i recommend sony's though. The ones I have for my PSP are sick, they have decent bass and everything. |

i'm talking about earplugs which work as headphones. they look like normal earplugs, but have a wire sticking out of them. the plugs were kinda like tree shaped. |

You mean Koss the plugs with the eartrip option?
From ljudia you can get those for 19€ for the plug, 10€ for the eartrip + shipment (which shouldn't be much to you :). |

thanks. those koss' seem kinda weird though. i've always thought koss is crap, but i dunno if it's true then. but these plugs don't say anything about how much they reduce outside noise (if they really even do), because that would be very important to me, because i need to wear earplugs anyway for my summerjob, so i really dunno if i should get these. i'm pretty sure there was some other brand of these kind of phones too which were more "pro", but i can't find them anywhere! :o |

These koss ones aren't bad but you'll have to do some mod to have them block outside noise a little better ( checkout headwize.com for that )
Otherwise I'd recommend Shure E2C
Wonderfully blocks outside noise making you not have to listen to music as loud as you usually would. Sound quality is top notch. I really recommend them. |

For general music listening there are 2 plug styles that everyone raves about.
Shure Ec3
Etymotic ER-6
The ER-6 are supposed to be a little more comfortable and have a little better sound isolation, but you cant go wrong with either pair.
They are pricey, but well worth it. |
