For Me:
Beer:
either Hoegaarden or Heineken
Mixed Drinks:
Midori Illusion (unfortunately most clubs in NY dont have all ingredients because it's DAMN good and knocks you on your ass):
Scale ingredients to servings
1 oz Midori® melon liqueur
1 oz vodka
1 oz Bacardi® white rum
1 oz Cointreau® orange liqueur
1/2 oz Blue Curacao liqueur
pineapple juice
lemonade
Pour the Midori melon liqueur, vodka, Bacardi white rum, Cointreau, blue curacao and pineapple juice (to taste) into a highball glass filled with ice cubes. Stir well. Top with lemonade, stir again gently, and serve.
Kamikaze (Spirit makes these STROOOOONNG :D I usually down at least 2 or three when I go):
1 oz vodka
1 oz triple sec
1 oz lime juice
Shake all ingredients with ice, strain into an old-fashioned glass over ice cubes, and serve.
Hurricane (a classic)
1 oz vodka
1/4 oz grenadine syrup
1 oz gin
1 oz light rum
1/2 oz Bacardi® 151 rum
1 oz amaretto almond liqueur
1 oz triple sec
grapefruit juice
pineapple juice
Pour all but the juices, in order listed, into a hurricane glass three-quarters filled with ice. Fill with equal parts of grapefruit and pineapple juice, and serve.
As for shots, Bacardi Gold all the way :D It's game in a shot glass. (Not that I need any more game :P) |

there are a lot of beer out there that taste great. i used to hate beer when i was in highschool or beginning of college... b/c i used to drink cheap ass , just to get me drunk.
try brooklyn lager, bass ale, sam adams(cherry wheat), bluemoon(aquired taste), magic hat, guiness, killians. i usually drink pale ales... thats y i love bass. |
