| No limit hold'em is my fav, but I play pretty much all kinds. I hate Omaha! I don't know how to play it well and never know what is actually good cards to have hahaha |

omaha is great, but you gotta raise the bar when it comes to whats great cards or not, since you get 4 (which you can use two out of) there is a greater chance of getting for instance two pairs etc. I played in a tounament today (came 2nd, yay) i had a straight (5-10) but got beaten by a 6 to jack... thats something you seldom see in texas holdem, unless like four of the cards are on the table.. in this particular hand i had a 5 and 7, while the other guy had 7 and jack... i really like omaha, cus it isnt that much folding going on :P
i also enjoy playing 7 card stud.. thats the shiznit :P |

see that's the thing...in omaha you play different types of hands then in hold em...you always play straight and flush draws. pairs and trips are worthless... |

not really, i've won loads of hands with two pairs (high tho), and trips can win a good load of cash as well... im playing mostly for free while i get good at it, but i have won some cash on sit & go games... playing 2-4 hands on a table then switch..
any of you guys play on partypoker? |

well i'm just saying from playing myself those are the kind of hands that i usually gravitate towards because when i'm in the casino or at a house game...and people know what they're doing...i can't seem to win on anything less...
i dunno though...i guess it depends on a lot of things...i'm no omaha expert by any means... |
