meh, this thread just made me realize i've only been on like... 4 dates in my life. all with the same girl. every other time it's been like going out... with a girl. but not like an official date.
it's been like "hey, so i'm going to this club on saturday, you should drop by" and she does. or she asks me if i'm going and we meet up and all that. or i tell a girl i'm throwing a party, ask her to come by, and whatnot. hmm. this sort of sheds some light on the me never having had a real GF issue... hrm.
not much of a dating tradition in this country anyways. people just hook up much in the fashion i normally function in. but proper dating does occur.
