Post dreams when you wake up.

i've been dreaming some pretty vivid stuff lately. never remember past like 5 minutes though.
what are the chances a dream-post thread will take here? :gsmile:
gotta post first thing after waking up. dreams sound pretty fcuked up in writing...

| I still remember my dream I had last night pretty well. It started with me and my girlfriend walking up the stairs at our school, however, it looked nothing like our school actually does. We're walking along and I run into a bunch of my other friends and they start walking with us and the next thing I know they're all in the water drowning and me and my girlfriend are on like this causeway type thing trying to ignore the fact that they're drowning. I looked up and there was like this giant hotel that looked like that hotel from that thread the other day that was like 7 stars or something. Then I woke up. So, is my brain telling me that I should drown all my friends and then go have sex with my girlfriend in a hotel? |

I sometimes write my dreams when I wake up, else I will forget them soon after. Although I didn't dream last night, below was the most recent dream I sent to my girlfriend by e-mail.
The way it is written may be a little confusing because I am telling her my dream and also referring to a couple of people and places I know. Also because dreams can be a little hazy what I have written can be a little obscure.

Funny dream, can’t really remember where it starts but I remember there was a lot of NEL people (plus my friend Scott was there) boarding some kind of ferry to go somewhere and after we board I remember going somewhere to sit and go sleep. Then I remember it was some kind of vivid dream where I found myself off the ferry and in the sea, swam quickly back to shore to reboard the ship and noticed that it has already pulled away from the port. But my conscious mind tells me that it is a dream so I try to go deeper into sleep to wake up and return to the ferry. (Talk about trying to control your own dreams) But as I did that I blank out and the feeling was really as though I fainted because when I came around I was back on the ferry, but in the bar with spilt beer in my hand and Scott and all the NEL guys laughing at me. Then I became really annoyed that they are laughing at me and I am appealing to them to tell me what happened, but they just continue to laugh and demand I get them more beer for the spilt ones.
Anyway, the dream changes… however it is all part of the same dream because the some of the same people and all get off the ferry into this deserted town. This is where it starts to get quite hazy and dark. I remember at the start the town is not deserted but there are some people (or monsters) going around in the town killing people, and everyone is screaming and running in a state of panic. So I proceed into town (It’s not really as if I am in this town, more as though I am watching) see first hand some of the people who are being slain, but nothing of who is doing it. But the people didn’t seem to be dying, at least not right away, their bodies seem like hulking masses of flesh like zombies, but their bodies are all scorched black and red.
And when there are very few people remaining, there is some mayor walking through the streets of his town, oblivious to the death and carnage as if he has shut his eyes to what’s going on. He continues as if nothing is wrong and he is out walking past the corpses waving and smiling at them and talking to them as if they are still alive and happy going about their business.
There is another family remaining thought all this, but they seem like a very poor family and they are creeping one way, see signs of something happening and the father indicates to the children they have to turn and go another way. Then towards the end the children run over this hill the parents following and they end up in this big field of yellow sunned grass (like the plains in Africa) and there are a couple of young hyena who the children stroke and play thinking it’s dogs. Then one of the hyena attacks the youngest child, who screams and I wake up to my alarm.
Quite a lot to read lah… quite a strange ending though too, as I know the hyena are not the culprits – but I don’t really know who are.

In my dream last night I was at a mates house with my bro and his gf and we left in his car to the bottom of his road where there were all of my other mates from all over,who I hardly see cause they live so far away,and then I got out the the car and went towards the fish and chip shop,these lasses came up and started feeeling my leg so I started break dancing and everyone was like "wow", then I stopped went outside and started doing matrix style jumps lol!
Had more substance but that owuld bore you,as it stands my dream sounds very weird.
I also got shot at in my dream,ands jumped offf a building,ywt survived :) |
