Addiction 2: The Preview Thread

I am hoping to get some details nailed down within the next few weeks for something happening in Minneapolis but it sounds like another Addiction may pop up sooner across the midwest...
I am also psyched that there are now 2 new nights in the Twin Cities for techno/house/trance/... lovers.

btw, i gave a demo to jack like a month and a half ago to get some shows with them this summer, but he still hasnt gotten around to listening to it.
oh and one more thing. sound in motion is still doing Plush @ the Quest every Friday, so those are 3 very solid weekly nights going on. I heart minneapolis |

Looks like a lot of people are trying to pull off "Addiction 2!" - Some of the best news I've heard in a looooonnng time... :happy2:
Andy, Chris, and Daniel - Keep me posted, if you guys need any help just give it a what up...
Sounds like things are turning around for Prog/Trance in Wisco and MN... 3 nights in the cities and a night in Madison... This is great...
And Tyler - I can completely relate to the "Gave him a demo a month ago" scenario... I would be willing to bet a large amount of money that 90% of the demo's I've given out have fallen upon deaf ears... The business end of being a DJ is just teh balls...
In any event, hears to hoping all of us end up on the bill somewhere soon in the near future, the only show I'm for sure booked for right now isn't until November... :( :( :(

Yea as of right now my djing calendar is completely blank.
I have a few guest mixes coming up on ETN.fm (one for Nick Thompson and one for Suzy Solar) but that's it.
Ok, end hijacking. Huzzah for Addiction Part Deux! |

Dude, are you doing Thompson's Sunday show? I don't know much about Suzy Solar, but I definitely listen to Nick's show every week...
In any event, congrats... and I'm REALLY looking forward to the remixes of Blue Storm coming out soon...
And, on one more side note, if any of you guys are going to find yourselves near Central Wisco for the 4th, I guess I'm now spinning a party around here... If all goes to plan, there will also be room for a few other guys to throw down... Just keep it in mind, as I have no intention of asking any of the [sarcasm]1337 DJ's[/sarcasm] to take part, and it's sounding like it could be a long night...

Yea, it will be nick's sunday show. i'll hafta talk to him about an exact date but i'll let you know. suzy solar had a track on paul oakenfold's creamfields album and is probably one of the biggest female djs in the states. i sent her a message when i found out shes been hammering 'elsewhere' (check it) and we've been in contact about workin on some tunes together.
glad the tune is workin out too.
