i was SEVERELY disappointed with the shows in the last season. I expected at least the 3 final shows to wrap up the series. The second to last episode had some crap dealing with the Brady Bunch!
But the last show was a decent cap to end it all.
the whole reason david ducovney(?) left the show was because he was about to become a big movie star. since he left, i haven't seen him in any big movies. |

| It never sucked when it was the seperate tales dealing with the paranormal, it only sucked when there began to be too much of the bs with the government stuff, as mentioned before, there were great episodes in every season, sure 1-4 were amazing, but the rest was still good |

Also the guy that sees messages in like ATM machines and on TV telling him to kill things, that one was awesome too!

Easily my favourite episode.
I also like the one from one of the earlier seasons about the building wide AI system that went nuts and started killing people. I remember it activating the AC when Scully was climbing throught the air vents, Mulder (I think) blocking it's camera lenses and the light flickering on at the end when the system was supposed to be shut down, hinting at a still dangerous adversary to human kind.
Quality episode... |

my classic fav episodes :
- the episode where the woman is stuck in the same day forever, because she is trying to stop her boyfriend from blowing up the bank. mulder is the only person that knows the day is repeating, because everyday he wakes up, something different happens, and he remembers it. it was funny, because he was trying to adjust to his new "waterbed" the fake mulder bought the previous episode.
- the episode where mulder and scully had to report to skinner with some kind of report on their investigation in the woods. so both mulder and scully gave two different stories what happened, and they were trying to chase some vampire kid.
- *one of the classics* the alien cricket hidden inside a worker. mulder gets stuck inside an office room with building workers, because he is trying to play negotiator with some wacko who thinks somebody is inside his head. the only way to see the cricket in the dark in the shadows.
- *another classic* .. the teen witch that sacrificed the pig during biology lab. mulder and scully were trying to chase after the girl and find out what was going on in her house. |

| i liked the episode where people had the thing in their head, where they had to go a certain speed or else it would explode, and high speed chases broke out all over the country |

| I must say, even if the series did bore most viewers to sleep, and become a twisted, tangled supernatural soap opera, Scully never stopped lokking so dang fine! Whew, that is one sizzling dame! ;) |

The first 3 season were pure ownage, then it started to get repetive with all the conspiracies and was plain horrible at the end (with almost nothing but repetive searching for Mulder).
eh? |
right after the first 3 minutes of the first show |

"I can kill you whenever I please."
"But not today."
Another I liked was the one where Mulder and Scully have to pretend to be married in order to investigate a gated community.
Also, the one that takes place mostly in the past with that old time African American baseball team. You know, the one where the player is an alien and all that. |

but i think the x-files started to spiral a little bit when the directors tried to go more for a "continuing storyline", rather than "little bits of sci-fi ventures" mulder and scully were investigating ...

true, the best episodes were self contained or at most two episodes long, it would just be them showing up to look at something wierd, and the wierd things would happen and only Mulder would see them :D |

if i remember right, went downhill near the end of the 6th season i think...started watching the 7th and couldn't take it
i was a die hard fan from day 1 too :(
omg
there's one episode that still freaks me out to this day
it was in the woods somewhere, episode starts with two guys hunting in the woods, then one disappears, and one guy starts to freak out a lil, and he's sitting there, and all of a sudden, he sees this red thing appear on the ground so, startled, he looks up and sees there's nothing there, expecting like a bird to be bleeding or something, and he looks back down, and right in the middle of average ing moss and dirt and stuff these two bright red eyes open and it cuts
and then it was like these monster things that could just blend into nature and , they tried using a heat sensor to see whem when they were camoflagued but that didn't even work
aaaaaaaaaaaah
so good |
