Im wanting to replace the carts and styli on my 1210's and spotted this offer :

http://www.rs100.co.uk/index.html?t...html&lang=en-gb

£17 each or a pair for £35ish.

Are these still the daddies for general mixing, back cueing and scratching - without spending a fortune.

Thanks,

Rikki

i have two 500-II carts with D5100AL-II styli and they work like a champ for me. im shure the sound quality could be better, and i dont scratch so i dont know how well they would hold up to it.

If you need cheap carts these are the ones to get in my opinion.

What you running now?

I havent bought stantons since one snapped after being used to play 3 records- came with a brand new turntable and just broke!
Shop said it had been 'abused' and woudltn replace
(Turnkey aka TURKEY on tott court road in london if anyone cares......biggest box shifters on the planet- muppets.joke is on them as I havent spent a penny in there since.....)

I had a few as spares for a while and they generally get the job done. Cant stand using them in clubs tho. As a general no frills work horse they are fine.
