Hi guys.
I heard that having 2 sound cards is good for mixing..
I have BPM studio. Can u explain how it works using 2 cards?
I think that one card is for the headphone and the other is for the speakers, but let us say that deck A is on the speakers and B on the headphones, so when I want to switsh from A to B how can I have B on the speakers not on the headphone?

thanks a lot..

I don't know the particulars of BPM Studio. However...

I use two sound cards with PCDJ. Each deck goes through a separate sound card, and I use an external mixer just like you would with two turntables or CD players. If you are going to use two sound cards, this is the best setup in my opinion.

The setup you are describing probably uses some sort of software mixing internal to the program. One sound card would always play the mixed signal, and the other would play whichever deck you choose to listen to (cue). Again, I am just guessing on this. I'd really spring for an external mixer though and use one sound card for each deck if BPM Studio supports it.

Hope this helps.
