Hmmm, I exhaust myself physically every day, the thread i started here in the CORe, Total Body Most Improved Challenge!!!! describes a large part of how that energy is expended.

my mind is what keeps me up, i'm physically tired by my mind races.

As the night goes on, my thought pattern becomes more and more tangential until they no longer have any logical link.

Oddly, the harder i workout, the more trouble i have sleeping. I've found 3 cures:

Tylenol PM
Beer
Tylenol PM + Beer

No problem, buddy.

It's been available in Europe for a long time, but in the US, I think it was just approved in 2005.

I was taking Sonata before this one and it really didn't help much.

maybe you just need to be more active in your daily routine.

Not my issue in the least... I'm on my feet in a restaurant for 5 hours + a day.

Even when I was working out everyday I would have trouble.

I'm not shooting you down, though. For a lot of people, this is definitely the case.

sadly, i turn into a schoolboy bitch when i smoke weed. The slightest perceived sound is indoubtedly the police. I'm absolutely the least fun to be around I can possibly be when I smoke.

I only had fun ONE time, and that is when my friend that was smoking with me threw up an entire Papa John's Pizza into the garbage can (from what it looked like, he took 4 bites to down a large pizza) all the while swearing up and down that, "This is laced". I can't recall ever laughing that hard.

sometimes people just have a hard time relaxing like their mind is racing ie what most of you are saying... could you possibly try meditation while laying down in your bed... ive never tried this but it could be a possibility, that would lead to relaxation followed by sleep i imagine. (its really about clearing the mind i'm thinking)

but yeah speaking of sleep...... :o

chicane - saltwater (the thrillseekers remix) does it for me too...

+1 dude

i hate sleeping. big waste of time. it takes me forever to fall asleep, then once i do fall asleep, it takes me twice as long to wake up and become functional again. grr.

I can't sleep lately, i get really tired so i goto bed & nothing happens, then i turn all the time trying to get some and just as its time to get up i drop off for a bit

doesn't help when it's 30c in your bedroom at night tho even with 2 fans running & window open, damn loft

I find that when i am stressed, it is difficult to get to sleep because i can't relax.

Maybe you need to relax more and chill out so that you can get to sleep more easily.

P.S. Make sure that you have a comfy mattress and pillow as well!
