What's stupid is how the girls that like the cheesy would dance at my hs's dances. Oh god.. It made me ashamed.
All of my girl friends have kinda said "I like it.. it's cool" but never pursued it further.
My girlfriend, however, has been converted. :D I'm proud of her. She loves Sander K and she's a fan of early 90s techno. |

I think people in general don't like EDM or trance. At least where I am. I am female and EDM is the only music I can really listen to now and get something from it. The only people I know that like it are a few guy friends, who happen to be gay and DJ themselves.
There is a club in my city that plays r&b/top 40 on one side and a little room with a DJ that plays for a few hours. There are only about 15 people on the house music side (mostly with guys) and the rest are listening to R&B. I feel weird sometimes venturing over to the house music side with maybe 3 females including myself there.
