The get a ticket and hotel and go to the show, it will end up costing you alot more than $40 here.

Also artist play for events like that for alot less money as they want the exposure.

I understand that... I'm thinking that the TIC in New Orleans is not going to be as unique as the LA one. As the LA one seems like a true TIC. The New Orleans one just seems like it was added on to the Voodoo line up.

Yes it was, it was another great stop to have the tour show up on and give people who are not really into the EDM scene a chance to taste what we all love.

When 120 thousand people show up for an event it is easier to sell tickets for $50 as you can easily cover your nut.

Voodoo is a great festival and if you get a chance I would certainly go.

That's New Orlean, in N.O. you only piad 10buck or 15 to see Armin, or Oakey, because ....that's New Orlean, Woody we live in LA, Hollywood, everything expensive. And the same time dj charge more when they play in LA, you have to understand that, everything expensive here.

Look at this

only 10 buck to see Ferry because this is Houston. Look at the capacity only 800. If you take 10x800=8k, Dude If you ask Ferry come to LA for 8K, you don't event touch him.

i need to move to houston then LOL
In Concert
Voodoo is a great festival and a massive audience and everyone should go if they can, especially since it's Halloween weekend in New Orleans.

Tiesto in Concert in an arena has a very different cost set up, it doesn't have the advantage of 100,000 attendees to share costs with and arenas aren't cheap, especially with massive stage / light / special effects / visuals / performers / producton.

Go to both if you can, you will have two incredible experiences.

My friends and I were thinking about going, but on an initial check, we can't find a room the night of the 29th. Hotels must book up way in advance just like Mardi Gras or Jazzfest. If anyone finds a hotel available, post here please.

Tiesto and Nine Inch Nails? wtf??? I'd have to be sober for a line up like that.
