OK I need to vent
I CANT STAND COPS WHO ABUSE THEIR POSITIONS
Just about 5 mins ago, I'm coming up my street toward my house. I stop at a stop sign, let the guy to the right of me who stopped before me make his right hand turn.
I go to hit the gas to move through the intesection in an orderly, legal fashion...and some cop flies through the intersection and makes a left in front of me without even slowing down!!! Had I not seen him coming and jammed the brakes he totally would have sideswiped me!
So now I'm behind him goin down my street toward my house...and this tool cop hits the gas, and passes the car in front of him by going onto the wrong side of the road. My street is a 40km/h zone cause of a school.
He had no blinkers on or anything. Prolly late to meet his pals at Timmies.
It makes me so mad that these jerks who are paid to uphold the law have no regard for it.

I got a seatbelt ticket once when I was actually WEARING my seatbelt. My mom was beside me in the car and vouched for it and everything because I have a vehicle that makes a supremely annoying noise when you're driving WITHOUT your seatbelt.
I think the cop was at a point where he didn't want to admit that he was wrong and insisted in a very pristine and -like manner that I had definitely NOT been wearing it and proceeded to use his overly 'outdoor-voice' on me and try his best at intimidation.
To avoid the demerit points (and inevitable insurance hike) I hired an agent (WHO ARE NOT CHEAP) to represent me. That bastard (cop) didn't even show up to court. Basically he could have cared less, but at that moment - while issuing the ticket - everything became a giant pissing contest to him.
