You should change your IE icon properties to open Mozilla instead. That's what I did. Change the Location from 'iexplore.exe' to 'mozilla.exe' and then even the IE icon will open a Mozilla page.

Cuz ya, IE blows. :)

LOL and you just found out?

That's why da Gate man is taken to court so often. Don't you know that only programs will work with windows when gates gets his kickback. All hail to the Corporation.

What we need is 2 or 3 actual O/S' that can compete and cross platform with any program. Linux is still not ready for the common desktop.

Have you tried highlighting and left clicking on Mozilla icon, then scroll down to and choose the "properties", then when a new window opens, click on the shortcut tab, and next to target field will be the path to which the program that executes is stored. If this points to IE then redo your shortcut or find the path that points to Mozilla and paste the correct target in that field. Apply and ok. ( lol exactly as Irishaddict suggested)

If this fails....then perhaps these others are a posibility:

1. Your browsers may have been taken hostage. It is possible that a trojan has taken it hostage. If this is the case...ask yourself how often do you do a virus definition update? also make sure you have the right spyware adware installed.

2. Don't drag to the recycling bin. Instead, hilite the icon press shift, hold it and press delete or if it asks you then answer yes to delete. By doing this it bypasses your recycling bin.

3. Uninstall Mozilla and if you have a utility program, go thru a registry cleaner...so therefore all traces of mozilla will be removed.

4. Re-download and install the new Mozilla (make sure u've deleted the old mozilla .exe file) and modify the install directory rather than accepting the default directory i.e. instead of ---> C:\Program Files\Norton SystemWorks go with C:\Program Files\Norton

Cheer up....and look into it a little closer :toothless

No big deal, Windows is super easy to manipulate, even when something isn't going how you want it to. Truly simple stuff.
