hookay, so. i downloaded Virtual PC (discs 1&2) from torrentspy...and i need a program equivalent to alcohol 120% in order to mount the torrent file correctly...or whatever you call it. does anyone know of a program for macintosh that does the same thing as alcohol 120?

links would be appreciated, if you know of a specific program.

even if i burned them...it'd still be a torrent file...my computer i guess doesn't know how to run torrent files (like what program to open it with) w/o a mounting program i don't think.

do you have a bit torrent client on your mac?

if not,

yoooooink -> http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=33044&package_id=25125

whats the extension on the file? is it a .torrent, or do you already have the .img or .iso or .bin or whatever?

the virtual pc files are .torrent
i also have a dvd file i downloaded that is .iso that i haven't been able to open yet.
i have bit torrent and tomato torrent to download, and i have media players for different video files, but my brother told me i had to mount the .torrent and .iso files w/ alcohol 120...but alcohol 120 only works w/ PC :(

ahhh girls are funny i love this :)

you need to have a bittorrent client to open that .torrent file. it will download (if there are any seeds) and the file that it yields will probably be a .bin, .iso, or .img. the .iso dvd you have would be best burnt to a cd, or opened with.. a client such as that on mac. i dont know of any that work on mac, im sorry. but if you burn the image of the dvd and of the files you get from the .torrent file, you should be in business.
