The Official "Who Needs a Ride to [Insert Event]? Thread!

Seeing as I do not reside in Toronto, I thought it would be helpful if for larger events we posted a thread that works in unison with the Roll Call to see that if possibile - we can hook each other up with rides (whether you are the giver or receiver). I guess it would work something like Roll Call in that the thread starter can update the initial post as more people add to the thread.
I can make 2 columns - one for needing rides, and one for offering rides.
I figure it would work best if you put what city you're in and whether you need a ride to said event or can offer a ride to said event (and how many places in your vehicle). If you have a preference on what time you're leaving then that might also be a good idea. People can feel free to PM one another, etc once the initial work is done on the thread.
For example:
I'll be at Tiesto on the 30th soooooooo [name, location, event, "can drive #", staying until]
Irishaddict, Hamilton, Tiesto @ the Docks, can drive 2, staying until the bitter end!
If anyone has a better idea HOW to do this then by all means - it's just a beta-thought at the best for me right now and considering the fact I'm pretty tired this might make a helluva lot more sense to me than it does to anyone else at the moment! :D |
