poker anyone?

Ok, so the story is... just a few months ago in college I got "addicted" the Texas Hold'em poker and just, always want to play! So I played a helluva lot then and then now summer comes around and I move here and I haven't played at all! So I decided I'm gunna get us together at my small (:D) apartment in Manhattan for a TA poker night one day of the week. RSVP required, but beverages (you know ;)) will be provided, until I get too poor to even buy those... We'll determine the buy-in amount and so on at the first one, but for now I am just "gauging interest" and seeing if any NYTA's out there would wanna come to my TA Poker Night?! :cool:
(it'd probably be a Fri, Sat, or Sun... tho I'm thinking Sun cause of the clubs on Fri & Sat) |

Im definitely interested.
Are we gonna be doing tourney's? or buy-in's? or both?
When I play with my friends, we usually do alittle bit of everything. Tourney's are usually either $5 or $10 per person and we usually do $10 max buy-in (no limit on how many times you can buy-in). We usually do quarter chips... sometimes we do quarter, fifty and a dollar. |

oh hell no, you're definitely in... I'll even mix you up a Red Bull and Vodka or a Scotch on the Rocks or something of that sort, on the house of course! :D |

I'd be down for anything... but just for the sake of a "night", I'd stick with buy-ins (and buy-outs tho we don't like that haha) and just let it go until someone takes it all... Tourneys are quick and take people out quick... and I hate having people go home right after getting there... So yea, I'd feel like buy-in's, but... thoughts? lol |
