View this Thread in Original format riskytrader On the topic of useless threads I decided to start my own as I am comtemplating how I should start up my commute now that I'm returning to work in a week. (I was on mat leave and it's over now :( ) I live in 'Sauga so I used to take the Go train but since I kept missing it last year I just drove down most the time. The one thing I hate about leaving my car in the Go parking lot is that inconsiderate people always scratch it and have even had someone bump into my car years ago. It takes about 45 minutes to drive downtown and depending upon the Go/subway it takes about an hour and 10 minutes if I take public transit. The only issue with Go is that you are always on a schedule. Cost for driving = gas (the premium one is what I have to put which sucks) + $23/day parking (but I may get a parking pass for $220/month) + km's on my car which blows cost for go = $5.50/one ride +2.25/subway ride x 2 Any recommendations? How do you all commute? house_conXion Well I live in Bramladesh and have to commute to Yonge & Eglinton almost every day. I gotta take two damn buses (Brampton 14, and Mississauga 11) to Islington and ride the long ass ride over to Eglinton station, and do it again on the way home.
