Hey, check out this compilation:
http://www.discogs.com/release/161704

All I can say is omg, what a bunch of absolute tunes. This is how compilations should really be done, not crap like ISOS 4.

Beauty of noise, innit.
Sand Leaper
Gescom and Merzbow on TA? Fun times..

Don't mean to sound closed minded but you would take that experimental, kind of unlistenable stuff over the uplifting and melodic songs on ISOS 4? That stuff might serve great as a form of art/expression and just experimentation with sound (a concept), but not as something that can truly be enjoyable to listen to...

The album might be great, but dont expect much confidence on here from artists noone has heard about it, in a genre not many like, with tracknames you cant say out loud:wtf:

Well when I listen to music I like to listen to stuff that is enjoyable. I mean people can reach their own, but I think the vast majority of people would prefer more structured music to listen to, while someone who is just into experimentation would make that stuff. That doesn't mean they would sit down and expect to pop this compilation in their CD player and get an enjoyable experience from it. Sure i've heard stuff from there artists and others who make similar stuff (like Pan Sonic or Aphex Twin), and appreciate it's artistic or concept type approach, but it is benefiting the artist as an artist, it is not neccessarily designed for the listener as something they can enjoy.

Aye, I get ya.

Anyway, here's the end to the album, it's a pretty emotional way to finish things...
