May I add that another game which was ridiculously expensive was Mortal Kombat 3 for Super NES. $69.99. Amazing how 32MB back in the day ran so much. Although NEO GEO defintely ranks as having the most expensive system AND games, running @ almost $600 for the core system and $200 for EACH GAME! Bloody HELL!

And I wonder why consoles like NEO GEO and Sega Saturn died out so quick...it's simple economics, having games that cost that much is not going to work when companies like nintendo charge much less.

Saturn wasn't a bad system. It defintely PWNED for import games, like Vampire Savior, X-Men vs. Street Fighter, Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter, etc etc.
Danny Ocean
Everquest and Ultima Online..very expensive in the long run.

Anywho, I never spent more than $60 on a game, just because i only use PCs for gaming. Amigas before that, and commodores before that :) And only recently got PSP, that's cuz i fly so much and need a way to kill time.

You've never bought any special edition PC games that mayhave come with extra stuff, like Half-Life 2 Bronze, Silver, Gold or PLatinum, or any of that sort? Very rarely do I see PC games go over $60 like you said, unless it's a special package like HL2.

And you got a PSP too. Same here. Rockin' little system. Only drawback is a I can't figure out how to set up the network to play online with it.

I bought Tales Of Symphonia off http://www.Amazon.co.uk for £30.

I saved £8 buying it online instead of in the shops!! :D
Breeze
World of Warcraft = $120 + $40 to get started! but all worth it.
