Mercury = mad hatters = insanity.

The most thin line exists between sanity and brilliance. As a soc-sci guy you agree to that I know.

See you on the flip side. Surfs up! ;)

People say junk like that all the time. I swim in the niagra river seriouly, one out of three days during the summer. I am twenty, and I have been doing that since i was about ten. I have no abnormalities as of today (as far as I can tell).

no worries man go for it

:tongue3 Sanity and brilliance aren't mutually exclusive? There is no line.

As a soc-sci major, I agree with the fact that there's no firm foundation of which to base sanity. Who's to say what is sane and insane. But when the murcury seeping into a persons skull through materials made in hats strips a man of his rational thinking, it doesn't make taking mercury a brilliant idea.

I love statements like that. It's as if you know exactly what your system would be like had you never swam in the river and can compare it to your system now, or knowing exactly what illness' you'll have in the future.

I love when long term drug users use those kinds of statements too. Especially love when people give credit to those statements and take the drugs as a result.

I understand diffusion. I also understand the fact that these:

have been on the same body of water that Toronto beaches are on for over a hundred years, dumping god knows what into the water, chemicals that we may not even fully understand what the side effects may turn out to be. Dumping that's been taking place before regulations were put into place. Dumping that may continue to occur under the noses of regulators. If it's unsafe to jump into hamilton harbour, don't you figure that same "" will diffuse up toronto's way? Nature can't take care of all our chemical waste.

And Rock Point and Turkey Point too (all in the same area - Dunnville)

Also I never minded Port Dover and Lake Erie if you don't mind the drive. It's really cute up there in the summer. :)

Rock Point and Long Point are right beside each other. Long point is better for the beach. Rock Point is better if you want a bigger camp site with more trees and (less open fields).

And Turkey Point I have volleyball tournaments there and it looked ok??? :nervous:
