What: Atlanta TA 4th of July BBQ/Celebration at John's House.
BBQ/Food
We would like this to be a pot luck kind of thing. I thought I would make some German Potato Salad,Homemade Mac and Cheese, and some desert
(i.e. buns,hotdogs,hamburgers,other side dishes, deserts (oh, jordan could you please make something yummie please :)??),watermelons)
if you would like to state what your bringing please do so.
I am borrowing my parents smoker grill for this party. I am also getting some ribs and chicken to smoke on the grill.
*edit 6/30/2005 let me rephrase myself sorry eekkk but just so everyone knows i'm not buying a ton of meat. but if you would like to give in some money torwards meat that would be great. i am think we could go to the h-mart sometime on saturday.*
john is providing 2 Gas BBQ Grills.
Important about Booze:
REMEMBER JULY 3rd is a SUNDAY!!! BUY BEER AND HARD BOOZE ON SATURDAY!!!!!!!!
* Okay John has tons of Pavov behind the bar, I say we do the filtering again and see if it works.
* Beer: BYOB! It's just better that way. Bring whatever, also please bring a bag a ice if you can for the containers?
*Mixers: Were going to need them. I suggest we communicate on who is bringing what?
Music
whoever wants to play is welcome to the tables. Scott will you be bringing the cd turntables? John also says their is a way to have music outside but bringing the turntables is too much.

common sense applies here, don't blow up. don't cause forest fires (sorry, i don't want a visit from smokey),don't hurt anyone or yourself, blah blah blah.
on saturday were going to get some. please either talk to scott, greg, or myself if you would like to get some fireworks. we will need money and list by saturday 12 p.m. NO LATER!!!
Can I get a headcount please? We really would like a serious reponse so we can plan accordingly.
I kind of would like to start this in the late afternoon 4ish??? John would that be cool?

1. me
2. 1 big cooler filled with ice
3. my new setup: laptop, firewire Hard drive and sound card. will haul my mixer upon request. also, Scamsel, if you have firewire port let me know, i can just bring the hard drive and if you bring your setup we can use that. I suggest we have an outdoor setup with tables for the day, [maybe?]
4. i maaay bring some newbs.
5. oh and mixers: im doing white russians so im gonna bring half/half and kahlua. greg or cynthia, whoever was doing the chocolate orgasm shots please bring that or tell me whats in them so i can get.
so head count will be me +2 |
