So I might be heading over to New Orleans for the 4th of July weekend. Anyone got any suggestions on what all I can do there?

| I met a few people visiting from there when I was chillin in the city. They were pretty cool, they said New Orleans can get really crazy at times like at parades and such but there are alot of crazy drunks and robbers so be careful. They said they rarely get any good EDM acts hence why they were visiting NY. They said they do get occassional EDM acts but the mostly do small lounges. |

but if you're coming here on july 4th, you're just in time for the "essence music festival" .. if you like the rap/r&b stuff ..
reuben studdard, alicia keys, black eyed peas, the roots, and more are going to be here ..
just so you want to know .. and yes not much edm people come here as often as before ..
and if you're coming here for halloween, we got the "voodoo festival" that weekend, where tiesto and carl cox are coming .. that is going to be sweet .. |

Go to the Hookah Cafe.. Friday nights there's usually a pretty good DJ by the name of Tony Estrada. Check out the Virgin Megastore..
Aquarium is really nice..
Eat at Cafe du Monde and also Masperro's.
Oh! And on Bourbon street go to Tropical Isle and get a Hand Grenade or two. They're yummy.
