I always thought of Webber to be a greedy player. He has intangibles though. Its gonna interesting to see how they're gonna distribute all the offense when he returns. I really like Peja Stojakovic's play so far. He's a very smart player and i dont wanna see his playtime and scoring average go down. Definetly has potential to be an all-star this season.

Heres something to think about. Vince Carter Vs. Tracy McGrady.
They're both very talented players and it's going to be a duel for years to come. Just like Johnson Vs. Bird. On top of that, Carter & McGrady are cousins.

Jeff Van Gundy resigned. Everyone was surprised about his sudden decision. Some were saying how he was the best Knicks coach. Yea riteeeeeeeeeeee. The Knicks need to rebuild.

Iverson's back, Webber's back and now the NBA is interesting again. How about Carter & McGrady, they both dropped 40+ points in back to back games.

I used to love the Sonics and im from New York lol. Kemp & Payton were the best combination. They would dash from end to end and look so fluid doing at. I honestly think that Payton is wasting his time playing for Seattle now. Hes been the best real point guard in the league for the past decade and deserves another chance at the title. Kemp on the other hand, even though hes like my favorite player ever has no real shot of leading a ball club. Payton, the Sonics and Kemp went from underachievers to achievers to believers and now back to underachievers. Payton is still on top of his game though.

Damn, and I thought I was the only one who thought Kemp & Payton were a killer combo! Payton is still great, while Kemp got a bit chubby and sux ass... but I still respect him for what he was --> a MONSTER PLAYER! Forget about Jordan, Shaq, and them sissies... "The Reign Man" was a man to watch back in the day, and his dunks were just as explosive as Carter's are today! The man was a scoring machine... Oh, good old days, when Sonics were battling the Bulls in the NBA finals (one of the best NBA finals too)...

Anyway, one question for all you hardcore fans --> does any of you have a tape of 2000 Slam Dunk championship (the one where Carter just lit up the arena)... It was being broadcasted on TV, but stupid me, forgot to tape it (I wasn't expecting that many hype moves)... So, if any of you do have that recorded, please let me know, I'd be very willing to buy a copy off of you.

And props to my main man - Pedja Stojakovic (the scoring machine)...

I still have the images stuck in my head when Kemp & Payton used to play together. I remember the finals with Sonics Vs. Bulls very well. When Kemp dunked on Rodman and literally sat on his shoulders. And i remember all the alley-oops Payton used to feed him. That was a great era for the Seattle franchise. Payton, Kemp, McMillan, Gill, Perkins, Schrempf and Hawkins. Those were the fun times man. Like from 92-96 when they averaged 110-111 points per game. They used to blow out a team every other night.

Im really surprised with Seattle's win over the Lakers tonite. They beat them in Los Angeles. I dont know how they do it, but Seattle has been getting the best of the Lakers since they got Shaq.

Man do the Knicks suck. Im sorry, but all they do is give up large leads. Sprewell drops 49 pts and they're up by 3 with a few seconds left and i thought they sealed the win. Not only does Antoine Walker tie the game with a 3 to send it to overtime, but the Knicks got destroyed in overtime.

Hey guys..Give me some more Feedback. I know there arent only a handfull of basketball fans on TA.

And heres the biggest ing NBA-addict out of Switzerland:eyes:
I will make some points, so its easier to read.
1. Vince carter looks more to take the threepointer than make some insane 360 behind the legs-salt slam dunk. He is really hot at the moment from three-point range but in my estimation he does not attack the rim enough these days. Ok perhaps he looks for his health: jumping all day long is not really healthy...
2. Rookie of the Year is way too early to decide. Many rookies have their breakout after the AS-Game. My early favorite is Tinsley. I mean, i knew he was good and underrated but 23 assists one night? are you kidding me?? And he had severla more 10+ assists game in this early season. Add to that that he plays for a playoff-contender not like gasol or battier who are playing for the buls of the west. This rrokie crop is alot better than last years and maybe Ediie Griffin starts to breakout like he is supposed to be.
3. Payton and Kemp together was awesome, its a shame that duo broke away. kemp is a good player, but as a person he is not the most intelligent. he had almost ten children (at least too many) and made other like drugs (ups...).
4. the lakers. I cant stand them. They have bad fans, a lame arena and kobe is the biggest pimp walking in the nba.
5. I also cant stand the dallas Mavericks. Beside Finley they had nothing spectacular, Nowtzkis still of play is terrible to watch and the stupid DSF/Premiere (Tv channels) send a third of their games, but not the other NBA teams.
6. Cwebb has a ton of talent but he HAS to show us that he can lead his team. He choked several times in decisive situations like against Utah few years ago or against LA last summer. The Sacramento Kings are the most likely team to stop the Lakeshow, but they need a leader called webber to do that.
7. the playoff race in east is very intressting. Beside Chicago and atlanta every team can accomplish the playoff berth even the miserable Heat could wake up. the most surprising team this far is Detroit, I would have not thought they would be so good (but i also think its abit of a fluke).
8. I have no favorite team although I cheer for the T-Wolves.

@fantom: Sorry I had no tape of that. Have you tried to find these movie-files on the net? like with kazaa...

well, im going to the kings vs. blazers game on the 26th!!!

anyway, looks like the kings are having some trouble on the road. but then...we smothered phoenix by like 32 the other day at home, so im happy.

and how about them wizards :) ?
cweb
man what a weak peroformance yesterday from the Sixers! Without Shaq and wothout a helathy Kobe thy have been destroyed by th elikes of Samaki Walker and Medevedenko, cmon! Where was coleman in the second half, what was iverson thinking in the third quarter launching brick on brick from threepoint range. Snow could not hit the open jumpers and mutombo could not even score on a layups. thats the reigning eastern champ? cmon...
kidd seems to have a monster game tonight, 15, 6,4 after ONE quarter, man he blows..
PhaseFour
well, i just got back from the game! we owned the blazers quite badly!!!!

anyway, webber was terrible tonite. i feel for him, but 6 of 20, argh! he didnt even stop shootin. when he put up the ball, the arco crowd (u can hear them) collectively held their breaths. Its gonna be one heck of a nightmare to re-introduce him back into our lineup.

Hey, just went to the Warriors VS Lakers game for my 18th birthday!! My first time to see da Lakers!

My Warriors defeated the Lakers, 101-90.......whoa we beat da NBA champ by 19 points! A strong, solid performance by Antwan Jamison, rookie Jason Richardson and Mr. Rebound Danny Fortson.....They totally took advantage of Shaq's absense, dominating the paint inside. VERY WELL DONE!!

Oh yeah, KOBE was in awesome last night. 39 points. dammmmn no doubt da best in NBA....

I have really high expectation on new coach Brian Winters.....he is a lot better than dave cowens, PJ, and gary st jean....LETS GO WARRRIORS!!!!!

TIM DUNCAN!!!!!!!!!!
Scored a career high 53 points against the Mavericks but they lost. Sorry to say but my Blazers are a mess and they have to dismantle that team. Expecially after the comments that Bonzi Wells made about the fans and how they dont matter.

cweb
yeah Portland is a totally mess. They need to win some of the next games, they have not that hard of a shedule right now. Especially that thing with Bonzi, probably your 2nd best player, sux bigtime and he plays really bad the latest days, perhaps because of his injury. His comment was a kick-in-the-ass for himself. Im wondering how long Cheeks will last with this team, they need to get thing together, else theyre watching tv in may.
Oh and da Lakers sux...
