| nah, i played q3 a bit at tafe with some of the guys and i have to say it was ing , from memory the graphics looked overly 'toonish' for a carnage style game.. q1 > q3 any day! |

i agree re the cartoonish nature of Q3. however, its physics engine is second to none in terms of the way in which the game moves. Q3 is a lot more precise :) its game where you have to be better than your opponent to win each time you meet. Q1 was like that too, just not to the same degree. Q3 weapon balances are also a lot better.

yeah quake 3 was better than quake 1, if you never played quakeworld.
QW was the as far as online games go. although warcraft is good :) |

q1 needed you to know console commands to use mouse-look ffs. the weapons werent anywhere near as even, & Q3 takes more skill imo esp since the pace is a lot faster. |
