| I've been single (don't laugh) for four years. The girl I was with was really messed up and she kind of lured me into it. Ever since then, no luck finding girls. I had a few girls (the last one was Fall of 2004) that have all seemed to like me, yet when I try to get to know them better outside of school they leave. It's not like i'm scaring them (most of these girls I knewn for at least four months, and for a few...I didn't really even ask out). The girls even seemed flirty. I guess none of them were really looking for a relationship, which really sucks. Now after all these disapointments and bad experiences...it's kind of difficult for me to ask a girl out, as I've been rejected many times. I wouldn't say i'm bad looking either, so I dunno what it is.... |

I was single for most of my 23 years (I is 24 years now btw) and I enjoyed every single moment of it for the most part because I spent my money on things for ME and only ME. Now if you just want sex without commitment, find a buddy, that should be great for those who want booty but no commitment. I rarely dated that many people because why waste emotional energy, time and money on someone who you won't spend long with. If you are single now, stay single for a while, have fun, go clubbing, have a few beers and enjoy your singledom because it will eventually end and you will be bitching how you did not do everything you wanted as single. Think of the freedom ******s, looking at other girls without a slap upside the head and looking at booty without a what are you looking at!
Now I have met the one and I am never going to be single again and marriage looms for me (which is a total bitch imo....trying to work out when, the logistics, the costs and who to invite and not have..and how to pay for it). When you find the one, you will be basically bethrothed and your life as a single crusader is OVAH!.
to conclude, if you are single, keep yer coin, spend it on what you want and enjoy BEING SINGLE!, you will eventually meet the one. IF you are taken, you know the happiness but the lack of freedom. I'll stop now because I've already dug myself such a hole that there is no way I can get out of this and when my better half sees this...I expect some talk about it. |
Buuuuuuut.... if you don't have much in the way of relationship experience, then it would be very easy to up the first proper one you have.
Relationships that don't work out are a major learning curve in life, imagine never having been a serious relationship, then finding the 'one'.
This person has had a few serious relationships in th past so is accustomed to them.
You are not, as such you eventually become needy/insecure/attention seeking.
Boom, tis over bud.
Life is all about experiences, especially those that can be unpleasant, as we learn the most from them. |
