The Drugs in Thailand = Death penalty forum was interesting.
So when you went, how would you rate the music? I searched for any info on past dj's but had no luck.
Full Moon Party atmosphere > Ibiza atmosphere ?
Or Ibiza > Full Moon
I don't know. There's something about partying in Thailand that is overly exotic, more intimate.
I do realize both may be a bit touristy and Ibiza to have a higher occupancy, but I AM going to get in at least one within the next 2 years. :D |

i dont know much about Ibiza but from what i gather it is far more developed and corpritized. FMP has a feel of community you have all these travelers that have been all over thai land for however long and then they all come together for the FMP. when i went i met these Brits a few days into my travels hung with them for a bit then parted ways. I then ran into them at The FMP. you'll see the same people you came on the plane with. and every one is your best freind (not beacause of the E) its cause we feel that we all have this bond that we share beacause of our travels in a strange place. the music is amazing. there are about ten bars all with there own theme and set up. you can start at one end and hear proggresive trace, then break beat jungle, then drum and bass, then a bar that plays top 20 club stuff ie. 50 cent, black eyed peas, that stuff then more trance.
maybe someone can help me out one was playing a Hardcore D&B/jungle/dub with 2 MC who were fast rapping/regge, sorry if thats a ty discription but if any one knows please give me some recomendations.
Matt and tables are set up an the sand so you can sit if needed and each bar has there own fire dancers. you can buy a BUCKET of thai red bull and Thai whisky FOR 10 dollars and will be dancing all night.
I dont know what ibiza is like but i cant imagine its better. like i said it was one of the best nights of my life. it was also the 1st time i ever did E. but that was at my seconed FMP |
