yea, it always sucks when a guys is on the friends ladder but thinks he is on the sex ladder. Its always disappointing to him, but there is nothing you can do. If he don't wanna eb friends oh well.

| Sorry to break it to you but the truth is this guy was never really a friend to begin with. He may have acted like a friend but he was likely doing the common guy move of pretending to be a girl's friend in hopes that it will lead to sex. A lot of guys do this. I would suspect that the majority of any woman's male friends have some measure sexual motivation. This is not to say that he didn't/doesn't actually care for you, however, he has likely always wanted a romantic relationship with you. When he kissed you he was taking his shot to move your "friendship" to the next level.... it failed, now he's retreating. Chances are your "friendship" will dwindle to the point that it is non-existant in the months to come. |

You didn't do anything wrong. He loves you and you just think of him as a friend. Could you imagine if the roles were reversed? You were madly in love with him and he just wanted to friends. Could you hang out and ignore your feelings?

| Nah, you didn't do anything wrong. He just thought you thought of him the same way as he did and is hurt and probably a bit embarrassed about the whole thing. He'll either get over it and realize you're a good friend or he'll be stubborn and write you off, to which you count ur lucky stars you got rid of someone like that who's not worth your time. |

Yep that was billy crystal.
And about the guy situation, he is just feeling rejected right now. Situations like these are very delicate, especially if you want to keep the person as a friend and even then its still hard for the other person that has the feelings because the feelings may continue or ever grow even though the other party is not gratifying them.
Call him up and ask to see him, you need to make it clear that you would like to be his friend and there is nothing wrong with him and you think he is a great guy but you dont see him as anything more than that and try to break it to him gently while still telling him good things about himself so he doesnt feel any worse than he does now. |

i believe Chris Rock put it better : " women get to have platonic friends. Men don't have platonic friends, we just have women, we haven't ed YET !
