Aren't there any mp3 players left without this stupid feature? Black and white screen is so 1337. Color eats batteries, AND costs more.
Way to go. Who the hell wants a color screen on his mp3 player? "OOh, I can see the track title... in black... against a white background! IN COLOR!"
"Not to mention I can now stare at the screen while playing music easier because that's what I like to do". |

| well if u have actually looked at one, the sreen dims after a few seconds. Why dont u just get an ipod shuffle which doesnt have a screen at all, or just get a usb mp3 player. |

| A screen is necessary, that's why I have a 20 gb iPod. Luckily I got it BEFORE the color screen disease. |

Hmmmm just buy the new Sony Hd5 I got one a month ago and its incredible.
20 g and 40hrs battery life. Plus its easy to use and looks damn good. Also its even smaller than the Ipod mini and theyre compressing technologie is amazing... I got tracks at 64k using their compressor running as nicely as mp3s at 192.
I got the red one ;)

The buttons... they're horrible! The MAJOR advantage the iPod has over other players is the navigation system. It's addicting and perfect - you can't go back after you learn it. |
