Wicked...
The bass sounds a bit muffled or distorted (not sure if this is part of the style your producing tho!) and the kick lacks a bit of punch.
Otherwise, really good stuff. Dark, evil, techy. Great use of Vanguard too. Seems to produce come good sounds when you dont ride its filters too much.

| its' tech trance it's supposed to sound like that... but the only problem is there is NOT ENOUGH bass... :P Turn it up the lows a tad maybe a good 3 or 4 db. |

Amazing Job guys ;)
Mastering for me is perfect.I can hear all these phat sounds very clear and at high volume without cliping.
There is nothing that makes me negative for this track.Bass loop excellent,drums and hihats loud and clear,synths dark and tripy.
Generally=ready to trip with it at clubs ;) |

I've heard enough comments on the kick (here and elsewhere) to realize it misses some bottom end.
People wanting to play it out, all cool, if you can do with this 192 kb/s version.
Note on the vanguard: I always have to record it separately so I can EQ it pretty heavily....it needs that apparently, pretty hard to fit in mix, for the rest it's cool. |

I'm playing tonight, do you have the more bass version in right now so I can burn it quickly? It's good but the lack of bass makes it feel out of place when mixing it with other teck trance. |

here's a tip: turn the bass knob up a bit ;)

seriously, i have a few sam sharp tunesi play which are bassless almost and it helps. |

sounds like the obvious solution for most cases, but that club in particular is no place to experiment with the EQ... since I was in a closed booth and I was turning the bass knob on some tracks and getting complaints that I was overdriving the subs. (Yes turn down the master volume) but then you can't hear the music loud enough... that venue was a whole mess with the sound... Oh well... i won't be there for a very long time.
That's why I asked for a more bassy version. Sorry for the inconvenience. |
