its the love of my life =)

but no joke, hands down one of the hotest 4 bangers out there.

I have no problem w/ people modding out their car (hell, I'm guilty of it). However, when some dip throws a coffee-can exhuast, and a WWI-Triplane wing on the back of their front-wheel drive car, and thinks that they are fast, I can do nothing but laugh at them... I've been impressed by E30 M3's as I've been impressed by 1990 CRX's... but the modern-day fast-and-the-rediculous ricer is, 99% of the time, a f'ing joke.

I like you already. The Wrx Sti is a good car, however, I would have gone with the Evo instead. What made you choose the Wrx?
I think the best car I've ever owned was a 96' M3. I once drove it from NJ to Michigan in 7hrs 15 mintues, and I stopped at Mcdonalds.

sti fits all of the above except its

ALL WHEEL DRIVE
4 BANGER TURBO'D
and does have a WWI Wing

but i'm sure it'll eat alot of things out there on the road right now. and the whole evo vs sti comparison - bleh both well designed "rally-inspired" vehicles, only subaru was first to make an all wheel drive turbo'd street legal car. mitsu made the lancer evo awd and turbo'd to compete with the sti. the baseline models, lancer vs wrx is a different story. wrx is still awd and turbo'd. lancer i think not. the only comp for a lancer would be an RS and even that is awd just not turbo'd.

and then we have the legacy to compete with mitsu's...hrmm eclipse? granted the 06 eclipse does impress me much, i'm just skeptical about its hood power vs legacy gt.

subaru fan for life as you can tell...

I can't believe you just said that. The 06 eclipse is underpowered and overweight and can't do a goddam thing in the slalom. (granted its better than the previous model but that's not saying much).
I am actually thinking about trading my car in, and I would go with a 06 Infiniti g35 coupe way before the eclipse.

Oh and to get back on topic....for your info gmoney.....american sports cars suck ass unless it's a Z06.

You must be joking. Many American aports cars suck ass. BUT the Z06 is not the only one that rocks. I had a '98 Camaro SS with the SLP pkg. 330hp & 350lb/ft torque. I was pulling 0-60 times in 4.8 secs. A Burnout was no problem. Also The Z28 wasn't too shabby. The new Vette is hooked up too. 400 hp stock. c'mon now. Pontiac had the Trans Am with the WS6 pkg which was HOT. Now they got the GTO which has a 6.0 litre 400hp & 400lb/ft torque stock. American Muscle was the originator of these "sports car wars". Now let's not forget about American exotics. Saleen S7, Calloway C-12, Ford GT, Shelby Series 1 S/C. And although I'm not a "MOPAR" fan, You can't dismiss the Viper.

Now that said, let the record show that my Monte Carlo SS s/c was bought only because I am a huge NASCAR fan. My original plan was to get a EVO or an STI.

get yo fax straight before you say anything. the word "granted" followed by "skeptical" leaves much to be desired by the comment you've made above. not being an ass or anything, just letting you know, i know what i'm talkin about, just make sure you know what ur readin.

and im sure you know this already but the g35 coupe's bodyline is japans exclusive skyline.

The problem with American sports cars is that they have alot of power but no suspension ( with a few exceptions like the Corvete) The GTO, for example, can't do a goddam thing around a track. As far as your Monte Carlo goes, I'll piss all over you

THE MAN HAS TASTE. Monte Carlo SS god that is sexy! And the reference to American Muscle i must comment on. The heartbeat of American Muscle will always reside in the fact that those engines are carbureted which feeds gas to the engine. there wasn't anything like fuel injection when you had to PUMP and PRIME your engine.

My first truck was an 86 chevy k6 silverado. All black with chrome step ups and chrome grill. 20" chromies with off road tires. edelbrock carb + intake manifold. i loved it, until it got stolen. that was my first truck, i definitely miss it.

Joey's Monte would ing eat your car alive. Did you fail to realize he said he has the SS supercharged edition??? Not to mention he has upgraded the pulley and exhaust....added about 40-50 HP. Now putting your BMW in the dust would be as easy as hooking up with your girlfriend.;)

On the otherhand you are right about American cars and their suspension. But I was actually talking about the overall reliability of American sports cars. When was the last time you seen 200,000 miles on an American sports car? Prob never. They don't last, they break, they are a POS come 100,000 miles.;)
