i had this first like 6 yrs ago in china - they had immitation lays chips that were ketchup flavoured...they kind of went outa style. Guess what the new flavour is???

| tomato sauce flavored chips have been around in australia for about 10 years now. My brother brought a box with him when he moved to hong kong - that was about 20 250 gram bags of tomato sauce flavored chips! |

Are you kidding! wow... are they any good? i just can't see that coming together as something good. It's contradictory in a way, chips that are full of trans/sat fat and cholestorol with the anti-oxident benefits of green tea. :D |

haha, yeah...i don't see them as being any good. Asia has some funky tastes and combinations when they take a western product and make it "asian." Take for instance Pizza Hut. Well developed in China. A item on their menu is a salad pizza sorta thing with ham and tomatos, CORN, PRAWNS, and thousand island dressing as the sauce. mmm mmm good. :nervous:
Oh, and i didn't buy the green tea chips. if i do, i'll let u know. don't count on it though, i don't see the two flavours coming together as any good either. |
