My Brazilian Trip - Pics !!!!

ok, ive got the pictures that deal with me online mostly, so i dicided to just post them. i flew in sao paulo, and drove on to a small surfing town called peruibe and stayed there for 10 days.
i did so much. played football every single day. went a professional game, and the fans are renowned for their fanaticism. for 5 days, i was stuck training with a local team, but my last 3 days and my first full day, i went into the rainforest, visited the streets and beaches of santos and sao paulo, bicycled around peruibe which had a vibrant marketplace, and spent most of my dollars in the malls of santos and sao paulo. everything for me was basically about 50% off, because of the exchange rate.
a lot of rastafarians in sao paulo, a city roughly the size of new york city although only sporting 14 million in pop. and they are not friendly. the rasta's that is. i love a smoke of some weed every now and then, but these guys smoked it all day everyday in the middle of street, and nobody cared. and most of their jobs are out being street vendors selling drug related , like incense, sculptural bongs, cigarette rollers, and stuff like that. i might buy one bong or something, but the bongs they were selling were ing creepy. elves, wizards, witches, and mystical like that. that just creeps me the out.
but, for the main presentation, my pictures. most were taken on one day, hence the CCCP shirt in most of them. more are still to come once i get them uploaded which on dial-up is a bitch.;)
Beautiful River Basin
I thought this was funny. we gave this poor guy a very strong drink called a "pinga"(which doesnt mean penis in portuguese). usually, these guys are always drinking, (to numb the pain). this guy couldnt down it all. they got strong drinks over there. and one of the americans we were travelling with got sick for the entire day.
football skillz on the beach of sao paulo.
i faked the goalie, so he's on the ground, whereas i pass it to the guy in the blue shirt, he shoots and scores. excellent play.
the football stadium in santos, where pele played.
the stadium has a museum dedicated to the team.
every night, the guys played a few rounds of poker. i love that game.
pool of water in the rainforest. this was the swimming spot. the water, i tell u, u could drink right out of the river. crystal clear. cold. nature unspoiled. and the brazilians are very adamant about it. no food, no drink except water are allowed on the trails. they have gaurds and enviromental police patrolling the trails, and no one is allowed to swim in the river unless there is a life gaurd around. and the life gaurds do their jobs well.

me and an 18 year old bar tender. 50 cents for 3 shots of vodka in one cup. but it didnt do much but make a buzz, so i guess u get what u paid for.
dinner at the hotel. very good food.
right behind the cameraman is my hotel room on the second floor. and every morning, this is what i saw when i looked out the window. the beautiful hills in the background.
football on the beach.
these vendors are everywhere, selling liquor, and drinks. this particular area was a fish market, so all the boats are in the background.
100 meters above this isolated beach. no one was there but a group of 3 guys fishing. this beach was all to ourselves, and the waves were big. lots of fun.
the hill im standing on in the last picture is the one in the foreground. a bit treacherous hiking through the rocks, but the view from up high is magnificant.
i made a video, of this beach. but my dial-up prevents me from posting it... i was right on the beach iself in the water, fighting the waves, and doing a panaramic 360 turn-around. it was awesome. nature at its finest unspoiled by civilization.
