A dog's little button nose. It has to be a good button nose. Very petite, tiny pin point holes. And it has to be wet and cold.
Watching a person work, while they're unaware of you watching. There is something about productivity, discipline, watching it be put into motion. I don't know.
Memories that de-root themselves or that you may have forgotten that spring to life and you for miniscule second, forget your reality for that moment.
Touch. I know, I'm a weirdo. But now that I think about it, everyone is touched (pysically ie, handshake, pat, accidently brush up against someone, taps, etc) kazillions of times a day and it happens so often that I dismiss it consciously or something, I don't know. But sometimes, once in a while, someone will tap my shoulder and it feels so .... . errajd;l compelling I guess?
The feeling after a good deed done or leaving dollar bills in random places in public just so I could imagine the persons face upon encountering it.
The high you feel after a teacher makes you start thinking things you've never thought of and affects you to the point of going to the library like a madman right after class lol
You know when some people drink? They make that.. noise after swallowing. I like it. I get to hear them internally, sort of thing. Or when you hear a persons stomach growl hahaah

I guess you could think of it that way, being as I could kill it quite easily...but I wouldn't hurt the little guy. I just...you know...wonder at his existence...*cough* :o
Buuuuut...I wouldn't call detatchment from reality a little thing. LOL. I dunno. When it happened to me...it was like I was extremely drunk yet extremely lucid and aware at the same time. The mind can do strange things. |

The eyes of dogs, big soft eyes make me melt, I am SUCH a dog person, due to me always having at least 2 boxers around since I was 6 til when I moved to the UK (at which point we had 3).
Fluffy clouds, especially at sunset, I can get quite transfixed.
The stars, ever since I was a little nipper I'd sit atop my roof in SA at night, 360 panoramic view of cape town at night, with Table Mountain all lit up, and thousands of stars overhead, I'd lay there for hours, listening to the nights sounds and staring at the stars.
Sadly, the light pollution in London makes this impossible now :(

but if you ask anyone who knows of india's culture, they believe in something along the lines of touch being another thing we need in our lives...
food, shelter, water, touch
thats why its so compelling to interact physically w/ another human being, whether sexually or just casually. :) |
